The ITD is planning to begin work on the South (332) and Central (333) exits in Rexburg in JUNE 2024! They will close the exits one at a time and work is scheduled for approximately 6 weeks each! The Building Department's job is to enforce laws mandating specific requirements for buildings in the City. They have inspectors, plan reviewers, and permit technicians tasked with permitting and enforcing local and state laws for safer buildings. They ensure new and existing buildings operate cost-effectively and provide safe, healthy, and accessible structures for occupancy and use. The department is proud to be a resource rather than an obstacle to contractors, homeowners, business owners, and the public. Thank you, Building Department, for all you do!
